Aloha! My name is Kathleen Ramey.

I am on Maui because I love it here. There is nowhere else in the world I'd rather be. I lived in the Midwest for 17 years, then in California for 27 years. I then moved to Kauai for a short time and I have been on Maui for 10+ years.
This is the final destination. I loved Kauai for its beauty but Maui has the beauty and the lifestyle. There are at least 18 micro climates here and you can enjoy the low populated wild side of the island or bustling Lahaina within a day. If you like it hot you'll love Lahaina which translates to "cruel sun". You're almost guaranteed great weather on the "West Side".  I prefer the West Side but if you like cool weather you'll love Kula or Haiku. You're almost guaranteed great weather on the "West Side". If you get tired of weather that hovers around "perfect" most of the time. Pack up the cooler and drive to Hana or Upcountry and get some wonderful doses of Mother Nature. 

Some people really love the change of seasons. I feel that when I don't have the change of seasons I don't feel the years rolling by with the change in seasons. I love perpetual spring and summer! I can swim in the ocean nearly everyday of the year if I choose to do so. If I want to feel a change of weather I drive to another part of the Island.

In my opinion, "The West Side is the best side" and Lahaina is the heartbeat of the Island. There are so many Art Galleries and Restaurants to choose from. There are two theaters and lots of night life.  Maui is friendly, fun and prosperous. You don't feel isolated here. We have Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, Home Depot, Lowe's, Macy's, Sears,Wal-Mart, Kmart, Old Navy, Pier one, Walgreens, Longs, Costco, Safeway, The Vitamin Shoppe, Whole Foods and more.

Besides helping other People buy and sell, I have made several purchases for myself on Maui and feel very confident that I have invested my money in a good solid market that will always eventually rebound and  appreciate. I love to research the Real Estate Market. I'm addicted to it. I love to share good things. If Maui sounds good to you give me a call and I'll do my best to help you find a piece of Paradise.
